SeaFire Lights Up the Gold Coast
Fireworks in Three Locations!
A night of colour, energy and world-class pyrotechnics – SeaFire, the Gold Coast’s iconic international fireworks competition was run simultaneously at three locations:
HOTA Parklands - Lake area
Broadbeach - Kurrawa, firing fireworks from the beach.
Broadwater Parklands - Great Lawn, The Aquatic centre end.
The expanded locatons meant more room to spread out and more places to enjoy the same breathtaking display – all while helping to protect the Surfers Paradise foreshore while beach reparations from Tropical Cyclone Alfred continued.
An incredible, free, family-friendly event with two of the world’s top fireworks teams – Belgium and the USA – battling it out with dazzling displays with Australia bringing home the finale. As always with Seafire, the cost was free!
