Schoolies in Surfers Paradise is one of Australia’s most iconic end-of-school celebrations — where high-school leavers from across the country come together to mark the end of exams and the beginning of new adventures.

In 2025, the beach will once again become the backdrop for two unforgettable weeks of freedom, fun, and friendship — filled with live music, beach parties, and plenty of safe, good-vibe energy.

What’s On During Schoolies 2025

Schoolies in Surfers Paradise is split into two main weeks — Week 1 (22 – 29 November) and Week 2 (27–7 Dmber) — each offering a slightly different vibe.

Beach & Pool Parties

Expect neon-themed events, foam parties, beach volleyball tournaments and live DJ sets under the stars. Resorts and venues all over Surfers Paradise come alive with themed nights and endless energy.

Live Music & Club Events

Top local and international DJs take to the beachfront stage and major club venues, spinning everything from house and pop to R&B and EDM.

All-Ages Festival Events

For 17-year-olds and younger attendees, the All-Ages Festival Zone offers access to concerts, entertainment and pool-party events with secure entry and on-site support.

Safety & Support

Week 1 vs Week 2

Week 1 (22 – 29 Nov) — Peak week. Big crowds, major events, and high-energy celebrations.

Week 2 (27 Nov – 7 Dec) — Slightly quieter, with more space to move, smaller gatherings and a more relaxed beachside atmosphere.
