The In Surfers Paradise survey
We have created our own survey asking approximately 30 questions. The intention is to create a secondary check on the data that is being presented by the Council. Notably our survey has questions that have never been asked directly. We hope to remove the ambiguity that seems to exist in the Council’s phrasing.

The Council’s public survey
The Council’s have your say "Surfers Paradise – Trial Pedestrianisation of The Esplanade" survey open til 16 November 2025. Note this Surveys questions are all loaded in a narrow positive framing. Make good use of the comments section.

Letters
Writing letters is one of the most powerful actions. They are given considerable weight at local government level. One letter can go to many. It can even be published on this site.
Send a letter to:
John-Paul Langbroek Federal member for Surfers Paradise. This action is highly recommended.
and
Darren Taylor Local Councilor for Division 10. According to the Gold Coast Bulletin article Darren Taylor is the champion of the masterplan and subsequent road closure.

A copy can also be sent to In Surfers Paradise for a record or with your permission to be published as an open letter.
